"When the WannaCry ransomware attack hit the world earlier this month, security experts assumed that it largely targeted users running Windows XP machines, since they did not receive a patch in March from Microsoft to protect vulnerabilities in Server Message Block."

A delicious meal was planned by FRC members Shannon Van Allen and Misty Rustad and served by some wonderful volunteers, Allie Johnson and Ally Arens, upperclassmen at Pepin High. Children were treated to face painting from Lauren Tulip, Bryce Quinton, Becky Johnson and Leigh Riesgraf.
As a finale, box car races were held and mini race cars, bubbles, and checkered race flags were given to each one in attendance. This activity came together as a result of many people working together. “We are so fortunate to live in a community where we can all enjoy coming together to provide such a unique opportunity to our children,” stated Mrs. Riesgraf.
Thank you to everyone who assisted in making this event such a success!
Here are some scenes from our day at the wayside. Thanks again to all who came out to be part of today's celebration, and to the many volunteers who helped to make it all happen. Happy sesquicentennial, Laura Ingalls Wilder!
